Woman in her 30s arrested over death of man in his 60s stabbed on busy Bristol street | The Sun

A WOMAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed to death on a busy Bristol street.

The horror unfolded yesterday afternoon in broad daylight.

Emergency services found a man, thought to be in his 60s, with stab wounds fighting for his life.

He was raced to hospital where he tragically died.

Members of the public were said to have held the woman at the scene on Grosvenor Road, St Paul’s, Bristol.

Police then arrested her on suspicion of murder.

Neighbourhood Chief Inspector Deepak Kenth said: “This is very sad news, but I would like to thank members of the public that came to the victim’s assistance.

"Our neighbourhood officers will carry out uniformed patrols of the area as we continue our work with the community, the council and other partners to tackle violence on our streets.”
