Police concerned for ‘safety and wellbeing’ of teenage girl, 14, who went missing in Cornwall over Easter weekend

Police say they are ‘concerned for the safety and wellbeing’ of a teenage girl who went missing in Cornwall this Easter weekend. 

Katie Clementson, 14, was reported missing in the town of Bodmin at 10pm on Good Friday. 

She was last seen shortly before before then in Bodmin town centre. Her disappearance has sparked a large police presence as police officers on the ground and helicopters continue their search. 

Katie is described as a white female with below blonde hair. She is also roughly five foot eight in height. 

Police say she was wearing white Nike trainers, light blue jeans and a grey hoodie when she was last seen.

A photograph released by the police also shows the teenager wearing a black puffer jacket which she was wearing at the time of her disappearance. 

Reports say Katie has links to areas in Bodmin and St Austell. 

Helicopters were seen circling the Bodmin area on Saturday evening. 

Police are asking anyone with information to call Devon and Cornwall police, quoting Occurrence Number 50230079981 or Log Number DCP-20230407-0986.
