At least one primary school in east London told parents to collect their children "promptly" following a "credible threat".

After-school clubs were cancelled as well as a school play.
Parents at nearby Cranbook Primary in Ilford were told to expect a police presence.
The Met Police said: "We are aware of a threatening email sent to a school in Redbridge
"This is being investigated at pace by officers and it was not necessary for the school to be in lockdown.
