Abby Choi murder – Human tissue found in 'soup' inside home where model's body parts, meat grinder & chainsaw were found | The Sun

HUMAN tissue has chillingly been found in pots of soup in a flat along with meat grinders and chainsaws after model Abby Choi was brutally dismembered.

The 28-year-old's ex-husband has been charged with murder after her remains were discovered at a rented home in Hong Kong that police said was set up as a butchery site.

The house in the village of Lung Mei, rented by Abby's former father-in-law, was equipped with an electric saw and a meat grinder that had been used to mince human flesh, police said.

Cops made the gruesome discovery on Friday and uncovered two legs in the refrigerator as well as human tissue in pots of soup.

On Sunday, police said they had found a head and ribs inside one of two large pots retrieved from the house.

They were filled with soup and minced meat believed to be human remains as well as carrots and green radish, The Straits Times reported.

The village house had been recently rented and was unfurnished – suggesting it was set up to dispose of Abby's body, Police Superintendant Alan Chung said.

Abby's ID card, credit cards, and other belongings were also discovered at the home.

He added: "Police also have found that the flat was arranged by cold-blooded killers meticulously.

"Tools that are used to dismember human bodies were found in the flat, including meat grinders, chainsaws, long raincoats, gloves, and masks."

Cops are continuing to search for missing body parts, including her hands and torso.

Abby's former husband Alex Kwong, who she had two children with, has been charged with murder along with his dad, 65, and older brother, 31.

Police arrested Abby's former spouse Kwong, 28, on Saturday as he attempted to flee the city on a speedboat.

He was snared with around £50,000 on him as well as several luxury watches worth more than £400,000, reports CNA.

Pictures showed him being taken to hospital with a bag over his head after he complained about feeling unwell.

Kwong's mum, 63, meanwhile has been charged with obstructing the case.

All four appeared in court on Monday and were denied bail, with another hearing scheduled for May 8.

Cops are understood to suspect Abby's former father-in-law masterminded the whole thing.

Authorities believe Abby – who had graced a magazine cover in Monaco only this month – had financial disputes with her ex-husband and his family over a property costing 100 million Hong Kong dollars (£10.7m), which she had planned to sell.

Chung said: "We believe the victim and her ex-husband's family had many financial disputes involving huge sums.

"Someone was dissatisfied with how the victim handled her assets, which became a motive to kill."

Choi was last seen on Tuesday in the Tai Po district, where her remains were found.

Cops believe she was attacked in a seven-seater vehicle, which was pictured being towed away from the scene after police found blood splatters inside.

She was allegedly last seen by her ex-husband's brother, who also worked as her chauffeur.

Police said the family had earlier lied to mislead investigators.

Only last week, Abby shared a picture of her magazine cover with her almost 90,000 Instagram followers.

She wrote: "From Hong Kong to the cover of L'Official Monaco, my journey as a style icon continues.
