Jayne Redmond to expand after handmade baubles and crockery deliver success

Now offering retail and wholesale collections, the artisan producer has seen demand build for its unique collectibles over the past decade and expects turnover to double, reaching £1.1 million come 2025.

 

Everything is UK sourced, including the basic unglazed pottery (bisque) which its team of five in house and 20 seasonal artists then reinvent with dazzling colours and images.

 

Every year Surrey-based JRH (jayneredmond.co.uk) creates an exclusive set of baubles for Harrods and has a brand collaboration with Hamleys.

 

“The collection is all centred around heirloom pieces for family occasions, with Christmas at its heart. Our bauble wreaths are hugely popular and many pieces are finished with 24 carat gold,” says founder Jayne Redmond.

“Our customers, consistently women aged between 30 and 65, love to buy pieces they can use year after year. Being able to provide creative flexible work for UK artists, especially women, is very important and we expect the number to grow.”

 

Both Instagram and ecommerce platform Shopify “have had a huge impact, growing customer numbers with minimal investment,” adds Redmond whose twin goals now are to sell in the US and Middle East and extend its luxury brands collaborations. as it makes the transition from a creative cottage industry to a leading ceramics brand. www.jayneredmond.co.uk
