A car was thrown across a roadway in Palm Beach, Florida, as a powerful tornado rolled through on Saturday evening.
The strong twister rolled through North Palm Beach around 5pm, leaving residents to battle powerful winds and flying debris.
One driver captured the moment a small vehicle was dramatically tossed into the air after the wind caught it, rolling it several times to the surprise of others on the highway.
It is unknown if the car’s occupants were injured during the tumble.
Debris covered the street, being whipped in the wind, as Palm Beach residents nervously waited out the twister, hoping their own vehicles would remain solidly on the ground.

The tornado also hit a Palm Beach Gardens apartment complex, causing a four-car pileup in the parking lot and several other cars to be pushed into each other. Several vehicles were left askew in their spaces after the storm rolled through.
The building sustained minimal damage, but it was enough to ‘terrify’ residents inside, according to WPBF’s Steve King.
Shawn MacNamara, of Palm Beach Gardens, said he ducked down in his car when the tornado rolled through, claiming it was the ‘scariest thing ever.’
Roads were blocked by fallen palm trees and police were seen sitting in intersections to help direct traffic where the lights went out.

South Florida is expected to endure severe weather, with wind gusts up to 50mph.
Despite the torrential rain rolling through, Southern Florida is expected to be in the 80s.
Severe thunderstorm warnings have been issued for Orange and Seminole counties. In addition, a tornado warning has been issued for the Tampa Bay area after the tornado rolled through Palm Beach.

As the storm continues to move across Florida, potential tornados, hail, and strong winds are expected.
Tampa Bay is at a level two for severe storms, according to WTSP, and damaging winds and large hail are the primary concerns.
Coastal towns are expected to bear the brunt of the storm, but it will weaken as it continues south.
Palm Beach can expect heavy rainfall until around noontime tomorrow.
