A playful polar bear cub has been caught causing mischief in a series of sweet snaps – while its long-suffering mother bear appears to be at her wits’ end.
With expressions reminiscent of a human mother who is being bothered by her baby, the polar bear covers her ears as she struggles to keep up with her energetic cub.
The adorable six-week-old is pictured following her mum out of their cave and through the deep snow as it desperately tries to get her attention.
The mother bear looks less than impressed as her baby clambers over her, pokes her with its paw and hides underneath her as it tries to get her to play.
Seemingly desperate for some peace and quiet, the mother bear puts her huge paws over her head, closes her eyes and even buries her face in the snow.

The stunning photos were taken at Fletcher Lake inside of Wapusk Park, Churchill, Canada, by amateur photographer Yuan Su from Carmel, Indiana.
The 66-year-old said: ‘We watched them very closely every day. On the fourth day we started to take pictures immediately when we found the bears outside the cave where they live.
‘They stayed on the snow field for about two hours then went back to the cave.
‘The six week old baby polar bear followed the mum’s movement, and played with her. The baby hid behind the mum for a while, and crawled on her back.
‘The baby also ran after the mum and the mum kept on watching out closely for her baby.
‘I loved watching this baby very much – it is very cute.’
