Philippines is rocked by a ‘massive’ 7.1 magnitude earthquake

The Philippines has been rocked by a massive 7.1 magnitude earthquake.

The quake struck was recorded near the city of Luzon at a depth of 40km, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre said on Wednesday.

There is no tsunami threat to Australia after the quake, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
