Meghan Markle has signed with William Morris Endeavor (WME), the talent agency that boast clients like Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, tennis star Serena Williams, and a litany of other A-Listers.
Three years after she and husband Prince Harry took a step back from their duties as British senior royals, the mom to Archie and Lilibet is diving head first back into the entertainment industry, according to a new report from Variety.
Acting will not be an area of focus, Variety reports, despite her history on-screen. Prior to her marriage, Markle starred as Rachel Zane on the popular USA Network series ‘Suits’ and appeared in several Hallmark films.
According to the outlet, Markle will work with Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel, agent Brad Slater, and agent Jill Smoller.
WME will represent Archewell, Markle and Prince Harry’s content creation label, and work with the Duchess on film and television production, brand partnerships, and overall business-building.

WME CEO Ari Emanuel, left, brother of Obama’s former chief of staff Rahm Emanuel, will also be working with Meghan. Managing partner Brad Slater, right, is also part of the duchesses package, he’s known to cater to some of WME’s biggest movie star clients
DailyMail.com reached out to WME to independently confirm the news but did not receive a response by the time of publication.
In her Variety cover shoot in 2022, Markle said she was not considering a return to acting in the near future.
‘I’m done. I guess never say never, but my intention is to absolutely not,’ Markle said.
The Duchess did signal that she was interested in doubling down on Archewell and the stories and productions the company takes on.
‘So much of how my husband and I see things is through our love story. I think that’s what people around the world connected to, especially with our wedding. People love love. I’m not excluded in that sentiment,’ Markle said.
‘For scripted, we want to think about how we can evolve from that same space and do something fun. It doesn’t always have to be so serious. Like a good rom-com. Don’t we miss them? I miss them so much,’ she continued.
Since forming the company, Archewell has produced two docuseries, one of which is Netflix’s ‘Harry & Meghan.’
The Sussexes are currently engaged in a deal with Netflix still.
The news of Markle’s signing with WME comes just days after the couple was spotted in public at the Los Angeles Lakers game versus the Sacramento Kings.
