Wedding, what wedding? Jennifer Garner heads out to Sam’s Club in West Virginia while ex Ben Affleck married JLo in Georgia

• Sources had said Garner would not be attending her ex-husband’s wedding because she was filming in Texas
• She is said to have congratulated the couple before their ceremony, and is supportive of the marriage 

Actress Jennifer Garner was seen walking down a different kind of aisle as her ex-husband Ben Affleck tied the knot with Jennifer Lopez over the weekend.

Garner, 50, was pictured checking out the various discounted merchandise at Sam’s Club in West Virginia just before 4pm Saturday, around the same time the festivities got underway in Savannah, Georgia, where Affleck and Lopez were married for the second time.

Eyewitnesses at the South Charleston store told TMZ Garner was perusing the aisles with two men, who looked like her father and her boyfriend, businessman John Miller.

She wore a simple blue blouse with blue and white-striped pants as she combed through the aisles and took photos with admiring fans.

It remains unclear whether she was invited to her ex’s wedding, with whom she shares three children, but the photos prove she was not in attendance at the glitzy event.

Garner was married to Ben Affleck from 2005 to 2018.

The two actors met while filming Pearl Harbor in 2000, and were reunited two years later on the set of Daredevil, where Affleck said he first fell in love with Garner — who at the time was married to Scott Foley,

But just a few months later, he got engaged to his then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez.

Nothing really happened between the two until after Garner divorced Foley in May 2003, and Affleck and J Lo broke off their engagement the following January.

Affleck and Garner were first photographed together in October 2004, when  they sat together at the World Series, and they were engaged just a few months later in April.

The two got married in a private ceremony that June, and Garner gave birth to their first daughter, Violet, in December 2005.

They went on to have another daughter Seraphina Rose and a son, Samuel Garner Affleck, before they announced in June 2015 they were getting a divorce.

In a statement at the time, they said: ‘We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children, whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time.’

The divorce was finalized in 2018, and by 2021, Affleck had rekindled his relationship with J Lo.

Garner and Affleck were married in a private ceremony in June 2005, and Garner gave birth to their first daughter, Violet, right, that December. They went on to have another daughter Seraphina Rose and a son, Samuel Garner Affleck, before they announced in June 2015 they were getting a divorce

Sources have previously told Hollywood Life that Garner is supportive of Affleck’s marriage to J-Lo.

An insider said, though, Garner would not e attending the wedding because she is ‘hard at work on a project in Texas… but she’s been totally supportive of her kids being there, and is really positive in general about the whole thing.

‘There is nothing more important to her than her kids’ happiness so the fact that they feel welcomed and at ease and have bonded with J Lo and her kids is just the best thing she could ask for.’

Another source said Garner had already congratulated the couple prior to their wedding ceremony on Saturday.

‘Ben will always consider Jennifer family, so of course he extended an invitation,’ the unnamed source said. ‘Plus, Jennifer and Jen have become closer, so J Lo was fully supportive of inviting the mother of his kids.

‘Jennifer knows they adore J-Lo, and she’s fully on board with them getting close to their new stepmom,’ the source continued, adding: ‘Jennifer has wished them all the best and knows it will be a beautiful event.’

The happy couple walked down the aisle followed by close friends and family, including their children from Jennifer’s third husband Marc Anthony, as well as Affleck’s first wife Jennifer Garner

Many A-List celebrities flocked to Affleck’s plantation mansion for the event, including Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel

Affleck and Lopez finally tied the knot in a breathtaking wedding ceremony at his 8.9 million Georgia ‘plantation’ mansion on Saturday, surrounded by friends, family and A-List celebrities.

The celebrity couple known as ‘Bennifer,’ wowed the audience with Lopez wearing a stunning white, Ralph Lauren couture gown complete with long train and veil, while Affleck looked sharp in complementary white and black tuxedo.

Photographs shot from above showed the picture-perfect A-listers embracing one another through smiles at a waterside jetty, outside their enormous mansion, and while walking along a snowy white altar set up especially for the day.

Ben, 50, donned a smart white tuxedo jacket, black bow tie and black pants, and towered over his 53 year-old bride.

The couple was followed down the aisle after their nuptials by close friends and family, including their children from Jennifer’s third husband Marc Anthony, as well as Affleck’s first wife Jennifer Garner. 

Joining Affleck were his three kids from his marriage to Jennifer Garner, Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Sam, 11. And standing by JLO were her twins, Emme and Max, 14,  which she had with Marc Anthony.

She appeared enthralled by the presence of her fourth husband, and their picture perfect surroundings. A fireworks display from a lake in the property was scheduled to conclude the evening, with Savannah trolley buses pictured entering the property to shuttle the couple’s guests around.

Among those in attendance were Matt Damon, long associated with Affleck and a co-Oscar winner with his fellow Massachusetts native for Good Will Hunting, was spotted at the scene with his wife, Luciana Barroso.

Director Kevin Smith and actor Jason Mewes – famous for their pairing as ‘Jay and Silent Bob’ – were also spotted in Georgia for the party. 

Smith was seen at a Hertz rental pickup with his wife, Jennifer Schwalbach Smith, as they headed for the festivities. 

Other stars expected at the party included George Clooney, Jane Fonda, Renee Zellweger, and Jimmy Kimmel.
