A conman who sold How Clean is Your House star Aggie MacKenzie a £770,000 north London home from hell has been jailed for seven years.
David Farrah-Tunnicliffe, 51, admitted to money laundering and fraud during a court case that ended this week after his £2 million scheme was uncovered by police.
The criminal scammed councils, banks and luxury goods brands and even cleaned money stolen from people who lost their life savings.
The police investigation into Farrah-Tunnicliffe began after his wallet with bank cards with other people’s names in it was handed into a police station.
The serial conman was locked up in 2010 for five years over a £10 million fraud, and police found he even assumed the identity of a man who died in 2018 in their latest investigation.

The two-bedroom £770,000 home Farrah- Tunnicliffe sold to Aggie had leaky roofs and walls and raw sewage collected under the kitchen floor.
Aggie MacKenzie, 68, told The Sun after the fraudster was locked up: ‘He is someone without empathy, probably a narcissist, doesn’t care who he screws over.
‘I suspect he doesn’t take any responsibility for his crimes.
‘In some ways I feel sorry for him because his whole life is a lie.’
Police began investigating him in 2019 after a wallet and a bag belonging to him was handed into Brighton police station which had cards with different names in it.
Sussex Police said: ‘In October 2019, a bag belonging to Farrah-Tunnicliffe was handed into Brighton police station.

‘As a result, an investigation was launched by the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit SEROCU. Officers discovered that Farah-Tunnicliffe was setting up companies in alias names.
‘Additionally, Farrah-Tunnicliffe was found to have assumed the identity of the man whose name was found on the cards left in the bank.
‘The man had died in 2018. Farrah-Tunnicliffe used his bank accounts to launder further funds and later falsely represented himself as the man – to claim £19,000 from probate solicitors.’
