College students have invaded Florida’s beaches for Spring Break – and they spent their time brawling with each other in front of frat bros in boozed-fueled wrestling matches.
Groups of bikini-clad girls and jeering guys flocked to the packed-out beach where they sunbathed, partied, and even staged their own mock fighting competitions.
The merry students – celebrating a break from their college semester – were seen huddling in circles as two individuals took turns leaping on one another and fighting while the crowd around them jeered and screamed.
Some of the women on Spring Break also got involved in the chaos – getting down and dirty in the Fort Lauderdale sand as they tussled and tackled during the football drills.

This is the first time in three years that college students have been able to truly enjoy Spring Break without the threat of Covid restrictions – and their incessant partying proves that they are making the most of the new-found freedom.
Wearing funky shades matching their swimwear, some students taking a calmer approach to the holidays were seen bathing in the sunshine and enjoying a dip in the water.

And some girls, leaving little to the imagination, posed for photos in the ocean – presumably to make their pals stuck at home jealous of their tropical vacation.
Elsewhere, swathes of half-dressed youngsters danced at daytime parties on the beach, in the back of pickup trucks, and on boats rented out for the day.
A ramped-up police presence was also noticeable along the beach in Fort Lauderdale. Officers on bicycles, buggies and SUVs were seen patrolling the area, others were seen leading K-9s between sun bathers on the crowded beach.
Preparation for the busy season comes as US officials, including the Department of State, warned Americans against traveling to Mexico after a spate of violent crimes. Last month four Americans were kidnapped in Matamoros, Mexico, and two were killed.

Nonetheless, some spring breakers still showed up in droves to Cancun, in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, where the US has told travelers to ‘exercise increased caution’.
The travel advisories and controversy surrounding travel in Mexico come as the dangers facing Americans in Mexico received increased attention. Notably, earlier this month a group four were kidnapped by a drug cartel in a saga that left two of the victims dead.
‘Drug cartel violence and other criminal activity represent a significant safety threat to anyone who crosses into Mexico right now,’ said Texas Department of Public Safety Director Steven McCraw said in a statement issued Friday.
‘We have a duty to inform the public about safety, travel risks and threats. Based on the volatile nature of cartel activity and the violence we are seeing there, we are urging individuals to avoid travel to Mexico at this time.’
