World Markets At This Hour

Markets remained firm despite worries of a large rate hike by the ECB in its August meeting. Easing geopolitical tensions also helped shore up the sentiment. Oil prices recovered after touching a multi-month low on demand concerns.

Asian stocks mostly moved higher. European stocks are also trading mostly higher. Wall Street Futures too have edged up.

The Dollar Index declined. Bond yields moved mixed. Crude oil prices recovered from the lows touched following the unexpected rise in crude oil inventories in the U.S. Gold strengthened amidst the Dollar’s weakness. Cryptocurrencies declined.
