ACY Securities Partners with Finlogix, Adds Trading Widgets

Australian multi-asset broker ACY Securities announced this Wednesday that it has partnered with Finlogix, in order to offer its customers access to a suite of trading widgets.

Finlogix is an emerging fintech provider in the global derivatives markets. The company has developed trading widgets, which aim to help improve traders’ success, such as live market data, real-time HTML 5 charting, an economic calendar and social sharing capabilities.

Via the partnership, users of ACY Securities will be able to access four new widgets – the right-hand panel, intuitive charting solutions, price box widget and the economic calendar, according to the statement.

The right-hand panel is Finlogix’s flagship widget. It allows traders to access a range of instruments with live pricing data, including foreign exchange (forex), indices, commodities and cryptocurrencies.

The HTML 5 charting platform provides investors with more than 65 instruments, 30 indicators and 10 different timeframes. The price box widget, on the other hand, gives traders colour-codes price boxes which display important information such as bid/offer spread, percentage moves and more.

The economic calendar, which according to the statement is “arguably one of the fastest economic calendars in the industry” provides users with a customisable calendar based on their preferences.

Speaking on the partnership, ACY Securities Co-director Jimmy Ye said that the widgets developed by Finlogix allow analysts to build a community of engaged traders, whilst at the same time, equipping investors with trading tools.

“Finlogix provides innovative, cutting-edge tools to help traders make more informed, smarter trading decisions.  But the real power of Finlogix lies in its social sharing capabilities. Analysts on Finlogix can create and share actionable trade ideas in real-time and traders are can learn, follow and grow, creating a community of engaged traders,” Mr Ye added in an interview this morning.

ACY Securities continues expansion

The announcement from ACY Securities comes at a time of expansion for the broker. Particularly, it appears to be on a hiring spree. As Finance Magnates reported, the broker recently hired Justin Pooni, who initially joined the firm as the Head of Marketing and Communications in July.

Following the appointment of Ashley Jessen as its Head of Marketing, Pooni was made the Head of Branding & Communications and will oversee the company’s global brand presence, communications, and PR.

In August, the company managed to recruit Russell Sandiford as its Chief Market Analyst. Sandiford joins the company with more than 16 years worth of experience in the global FX, indices, and commodities markets.
